A planning application has been lodged to extend a housing development in Aberdeen.
Developers, Cala, have submitted plans for 165 new houses in the west of the city, after experiencing high demand.
Construction at Milltimber Grange began in 2015, with 60 homes currently being built as part of the first phase of the development.
The new properties will be made up of four and five-bedroom houses and one and two-bedroom apartments.
The completed development will comprise around 550 homes, and will include a new primary school and shops.
Plans for the development met with opposition from the Cults, Bieldside and Milltimber community council.
Concerns were raised there were insufficient affordable houses in the area, and that local schools would be put under extra strain.
Properties at Milltimber Grange are currently on the market, starting at £489,000, with the highest priced homes valued at £815,000.
Fraser Carr, director of sales and marketing at Cala said: “Moving ahead with our application to develop phase two is a result of the response we’ve had to the vibrant village environment we are creating.
“This next phase is another step in the process of creating an inviting and welcoming new community where people can lay down roots.”
