Why have mystery blue dolphins been painted all over Aberdeen’s streets?

Aberdeen residents have been left speculating after images of bottlenose dolphins began appearing all over the city.

Locals noticed the blue sketches have been surfacing for around a week in various locations.

The dolphins have been spotted at the beach esplanade, in many of the city’s parks and various locations close to Union Street. They typically appear alongside the hashtag ‘#DolphinsABDN’.
