Six appliances have been sent to deal with a large wildfire in Aberdeenshire.
Around 34 firefighters have been tackling the blaze near Banchory from 2.24pm.
The fire is thought to be around 8,000 square metres.
Appliances were sent from Banchory, Stonehaven, Aboyne, North Anderson Drive, Central and Inverbervie and there is also a water carrier from Stonehaven and a forestry unit from Altens.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters left the scene at 5.10pm.
She added that Hydro Electric have been made aware as there are some “charred electricity poles”.
