North-east motorcyclist dies following Highland car crash

A north-east motorcyclist has died following a crash on a Highland road.
Richard Findon, of Bucksburn, Aberdeen, died on April 5 following the collision on the A95 Aviemore to Keith road at Cromdale, near Grantown-on-Spey.
The accident involved the 36-year-old’s motorcycle and a blue Land Rover Discovery, and took place at about 9.30am on Saturday, March 25.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a motorcyclist who was involved in a collision on the A95 at Cromdale, Grantown-on-Spey, on Saturday, 25 March, has sadly died.
“The collision happened at around 9.30am and involved the motorcyclist and a blue Land Rover Discovery. No one else was injured.
“The motorcyclist was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the collision where he died on Wednesday, April 5.
“He has been named as Richard Findon, 36, who was from the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen.
“As is standard a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
