A car was deliberately set on fire in Castleton Park in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to Stockethill Crescent at around 1.30am, where a blue Skoda was already well alight.
PC Craig Murray, from Mastrick Community Policing Team condemned the actions of the perpetrator. He said: “It goes without saying that such acts of complete recklessness could put people in danger. You don’t know how a fire will develop and you are putting lives at risk.
“I would urge anyone with information to contact Police on 101 or you can provide information anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
