This stunning timelapse footage shows how a massive street art mural became emblazoned onto the front of Aberdeen market.
The painting, by German duo Herakut, was fashioned as part of the world-acclaimed Nuart Festival and has become the talk of the Granite City.
The festival, spearheaded by Aberdeen Inspired, began in 2001 in the Norwegian city of Stavanger and will run in Aberdeen until Sunday.
Street artists Martin Whatson, Julien de Casabianca, Robert Montgomery, Fintan Magee, Nipper, Add Fuel, M-City, Alice Pasquini, Jaune and Isaac Cordal will all take part.
The art event is designed to leave behind a world class street art tour, with further works to be discovered over a period of time.
Jasmin Siddiqui, one half of group behind the Aberdeen Market painting, said: “I’m really enjoying being in Aberdeen.
“I’m having such a good time and the wall I’ve painted is one of the my favourites already and I hope the people of Aberdeen enjoy it.”
