A large hole on the Kingsway road in Bucksburn opened up earlier this afternoon, resulting in a great deal of water spilling out and down the hill. Scottish Water staff are currently at the scene of the incident to assess the scale of the problem and fix it as soon as possible. A number of homes currently do not have any water supply as a result of the burst main. A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “Scottish Water staff are on site at the Kingsway in Bucksburn after reports of no water in the area. “Staff are currently carrying out a repair to a burst main and hope to have this completed as soon as possible. “Around 40 properties are affected at the moment with disruption to their supply. “Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience as this repair is carried out.”
