Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene at around 7.20am this on Nether Aden Road near Mintlaw. It is understood the man came off his red Ducati motorbike after it crashed with a white Renault Master 100 truck. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The male motorcyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.” She added: “We are waiting to see how badly injured the casualty is before launching a collision investigation.” A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 07.20 hours today to attend a road traffic collision near Mintlaw. “We dispatched two ambulances to the scene. “One male patient was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.” More to follow.
