A north-east teenager will go on trial next month accused of threatening behaviour in a night club and assaulting a police officer.
Jordan Chesser will face a total of four charges relating to incidents alleged to have taken place in Club Tropicana on Chapel Street in Aberdeen on February 26 this year.
At the city’s sheriff court yesterday the 19-year-old denied all charges against him.
Court papers show Chesser is accused of throwing a bottle across the night club and issuing threats of violence.
He is also accused of spitting at police officer James Quinn and later resisting arrest from another two officers.
A further charge alleges that he was found with cocaine in his possession when he was taken to the Kittybrewster custody centre.
Chesser, whose address was given as Ashgrove Gardens South in Aberdeen, will appear back in court for trial on May 17.
