A 19-year-old man and 47-year-old woman are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today after drugs were recovered from a property in Ellon.
Cannabis with a street value of £2,900 and a personal quantity of cocaine were discovered yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Sam Buchan, of the CID Pro-Active unit, said: “This was an intelligence-led operation launched following assistance and information provided by members of the public. I would like to thank them for this help.
“The work to combat controlled drugs in our communities is ongoing and will not cease. Police Scotland is committed to taking action when information is received and we are determined to disrupt the flow of control drugs into the North East.
“North East Division is committed to ensuring our communities are hostile places to deal drugs and the associated criminal activity that comes with this. I would encourage with concerns to contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
