Picture by GFP Photography A road in Aberdeen has been partially closed after a fire broke out in a car earlier this evening. Emergency services were called to King George Bridge over the River Dee at around 4.15pm following reports a vehicle had gone up in flames. Fire crews attended the scene and extinguished the blaze. Great Southern Road remains closed in a northbound direction. A police spokesman said: “A single vehicle went up in flames. “There were no injuries. “The road is still closed in a northbound direction as we wait for the car to be recovered. “The council is also on the scene checking for damage on the road.” More to follow.
