A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery of more than £125,000 worth of crack cocaine in Aberdeen.
It amounts to the largest discovery of the Class A drug anywhere in Scotland this year.
Officers also recovered a further £25,000 worth of Heroin during the raid in the city centre yesterday afternoon.
The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later today.
Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Walker said: “Thank you to the members of the public who assisted with this particular inquiry.
He added: “Tackling drugs in our communities is a priority for North East Division and we will continue to make the region a hostile environment for such activity.
“We rely on information from members of the public to do this and would continue to appeal to you to contact us with any concerns on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
