A man has been charged with an alleged theft by housebreaking at commercial premises in Aberdeenshire.
A cash register, which was subsequently recovered, was taken containing a low two figure sum of money from the business in the Ythan Terrace area of Ellon between Saturday and Sunday.
The 36-year-old has also been charged in connection with an alleged attempted break-in to the same premises on April 16.
He faces a further charge of an alleged theft by housebreaking at a takeaway in the Holburn Street area of Aberdeen in the early hours of February 16. A safe along with a high three figure sum of money was reported missing.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
