An Aberdeenshire road could be closed for another two weeks due to damage caused by a burst water main.
Scottish Water has apologised for “any inconvenience caused” by the ongoing closures in Westhill.
A section of Westhill Drive, between Kinmundy Drive and Hillside Drive, has been closed by Aberdeenshire Council since the main burst earlier this month.
And last night, Scottish Water advised the road could be closed for up to two weeks to allow the resurfacing work to be completed.
The start of the repair work was delayed due to an issue with access to specialist plant to undertake the road repair.
A spokesman for Scottish Water said: “Scottish Water apologises to affected road users for any inconvenience caused and thanks them for their patience and understanding while this work progresses.”
Local diversions, via Kinmundy Drive and Hillside Drive, are in operation.
