A man is in hospital in critical condition after a serious attack on Aberdeen’s Union Street last night.
Two men have been detained and police are appealing for information after the assault outside the Co-operative store at 9.30pm last night.
A 33-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious head injuries, where he is now in a critical condition.
Detective Sergeant Rhona Di Meola said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything to please contact Police as we carry out an investigation into the circumstances leading up to this incident.
