Police are appealing for witnesses after a 24-year-old man was robbed of hundreds of pounds outside the Esso garage on North Anderson Drive, Aberdeen.
The incident, which involved a weapon, happened at around 11.15pm last night.
Police said a low three-figure sum of cash was taken and the victim did not require medical assistance but has “understandably been left extremely shaken by the incident”.
Officers are keen to trace two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
They were seen walking from Logie Place to the Esso Garage via North Anderson Drive.
One of the men is described as around 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing grey clothing and a grey hat. The second man is described as around 5ft 6ins tall, of stocky build and he was wearing a black hooded jumper.
DC Emma Low said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and seen anything unusual or suspicious to contact us.
“In particular we would ask for anyone using the Esso Garage at the Haudagain around that time to get in touch as they may have seen something which could assist with our enquiries.
“Police can be contacted on 101 or to remain anonymous please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
