A man has been remanded in custody following a robbery outside a petrol station in Aberdeen this week.
George Hanratty, aged 32, made no plea or declaration to charges of assault and robbery at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after the incident outside Esso in North Anderson Drive on Tuesday evening. His will remain in custody until his next court date, which has not yet been set.
DC Emma Low said: “I would like to thank those who provided information in connection with this investigation.”
She added: “Inquiries are continuing in relation to a second man who may be able to assist us with our inquiries as described in our earlier appeal.
“I would ask anyone with information to please contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
“In particular, we would ask anyone using the Esso Garage at the Haudagain around that time to get in touch.”
