Drivers have been urged to check their dashcam footage as the search for a missing taxi driver continues.
Portsoy man Robert Stevenson, aged 64, was reported missing on Thursday night. It is believed he was seen on the same day at around 4pm, driving his blue Dacia Duster taxi on the B9031 at the Dubford Crossroads near Gardenstown, east in the direction of Pennan.
Police are asking that anyone travelling on this road at around 4pm to 5pm on Thursday who may have seen Mr Stevenson to contact them, and to check any dashboard camera footage they might possess.
Inspector Megan Heathershaw said: “We are urging people to please look out for Robert’s taxi and if they see it please contact us on 101.
“Our enquiries have been supported by HM Coastguard, the Police Scotland helicopter and police search teams however we have still not traced Robert and as time goes by we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“We would also ask local residents to check around outbuildings for his car, particularly more isolated buildings and similarly if you see Robert please contact us on 101.
“We would also appeal to local Hotels, Bed & Breakfast and Guest House premises to contact us if they have seen Robert or his taxi, especially in the last 72 hours.”
Mr Stevenson is described as white, 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build, with brown eyes, short grey hair and a moustache. He is believed to be wearing a white, pink and blue checked shirt, black trousers and shoes.
Anyone who may have any information that could assist tracing Robert is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3517 of 11 May.
