A 12-year-old girl has been charged following an alleged assault in Aberdeenshire.
Police said reports had been made to them and footage had appeared on social media of an incident involving young girls in the Fraserburgh area.
The schoolgirl will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
A force spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland has been and will continue to provide support to partners where appropriate.”
