A man has been rushed to hospital this evening after a crash just south of Stonehaven.
The male patient was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) with minor injuries.
The accident happened on the A92, Stonehaven to Inverbervie road, just south of Stonehaven around 9:30pm.
The incident involved two vehicles that collided head on.
One of the vehicles involved was a black Land Rover, but police were unable to confirm what the other vehicle was.
After being alerted to the incident shortly after 9:30pm police attended the scene along with the fire and rescue service who cleared the vehicles from the road and made the scene safe.
The Scottish Ambulance Service attended and treated a male patient at the scene before taking him by ambulance to ARI.
