A man has been charged following a disturbance on a quiet residential Aberdeen street.
Police cordoned off an area in front of the shops on Summerhill Drive last Sunday.
A 32-year-old man has now been charged in connection with an alleged serious assault.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later today.
Constable Jordan Blyth, of the divisional alcohol and violence reduction unit, said: “I would like to thank members of the local community who provided information in connection with this investigation and for your patience while enquiries were carried out in the area.”
