Motorists have been warned of delays this morning after a lorry shed its load on a busy Aberdeen road.
The vehicle, described as a “large shipping container”, is understood to have got in to trouble at the junction of Market Street and North Esplanade West.
The route is down to a single lane, causing significant tailbacks.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed officers are currently at the scene.
She said: “We got the call to attend at around 9.20am this morning.
“The road is currently blocked and we are advising motorists to try and avoid the area if they can.
“Delays are to be expected.”
