The incident happened around 5pm at Riverbank School in Hayton. Horrified locals reported seeing the youngsters walked across the slated roof and sitting along the ridge for some time before officers arrived. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed five youngsters were reported on top of the building, which is located on Dill Road. No one was injured in the incident but the details of all five youths were taken by police.
