The van and a car collided on St Machar roundabout at its junction with Leslie Road and Great Northern Road roundabout at around 7.50pm. The driver of the van, who is in his 20s, walked to an ambulance that attended the scene and was described by police as “shocked and shaking”. Two fire crews went to the scene to help cut the man free from the car. He had no injuries. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The male driver of the van was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. “We were called to the incident at around 7.50pm.” A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We cut one male free from a car. “Cutting gear and small tools were used.”
