An Aberdeenshire road has been closed this morning after a car overturned following a crash.
Police, ambulance and fire teams are currently in attendance at the scene of the accident on the A93 Aberdeen to Ballater road, close to Inchmarlo and the Bridge of Canny.
Paramedics are currently assessing the injuries of a woman that was in the car, and it is understood fire teams are freeing her from the vehicle with cutting equipment.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said her injuries are serious but not believed to be life threatening.
The road is currently blocked to all traffic while the emergency services attend the incident.
