Three more men have been charged in connection with the death of a Fraserburgh man this weekend.
Police have been investigating the death of Gary Clampett after an incident in the Fernie Place area of Fraserburgh in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The men, aged 36, 44 and 46, are expected to appear in Peterhead Sheriff Court today
It comes after two brothers, Barry Martin and Joseph Martin, appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of the Fraserburgh dad and the attempted murder of two others.
Detective Inspector Gary Winter of the Major Investigation Team, who is leading the inquiry, said: “Our enquiries are continuing and a police presence will remain in the area at this time.
“I would urge anyone who has information which could assist in our investigation to contact Police on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.
“I would again like to thank members of the public who have assisted thus far as well as the local community for its continued patience at this time.”
