Police have released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with a deliberate flat fire.
Firefighters were called to the block of flats in Rosehill Court in Aberdeen earlier this year.
They quickly managed to extinguish the flames, and nobody was hurt.
But police are still investigating the incident, and have now released CCTV footage of a man they believe could have been involved.
He is described as being white, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft, of average build.
He was wearing a grey hooded top with black down the left hand side, blue jeans and black shoes.
The fire broke out at about 12.20am on Sunday, January 22.
Detective Inspector Allen Shaw, who is leading the inquiry, said: “I would urge anyone who has any information relating to the man depicted in the CCTV image to make contact with the police.
“Thankfully no-one was in the affected property at the time, nor was anyone injured or harmed. However, incidents like this cause a great deal of inconvenience and cost to those involved.”
Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
