A motorist has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary this evening following a crash on a Moray road.
The emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the A98 Banff to Portsoy road at around 5.50pm.
The crash involved two vehicles.
One woman had to be cut free from her vehicle by the fire service, however the other individual involved in the crash was able to leave their vehicle without any assistance.
The woman has been transported to ARI by helicopter.
She has received serious leg injuries, however they are not believed to be life-threatening.
