A red Audi TT and white Volkswagen Passat crashed on the A98 between Banff and Portsoy at about 5:50pm on Sunday. The woman was cut free by firefighters, and then flown by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Police Scotland said her injuries were serious but not life threatening.
