A man has appeared in court facing a string of theft charges.
Ricky Marr appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday, charged with theft by shoplifting and two counts of housebreaking with intent to steal.
The 38-year-old, of Aberdeen, made no plea and his case was continued. He was released on bail.
It comes after police revealed about £30,000 of jewellery, electronics and cash were taken from a home in the Countesswells Road area of the city last month.
Detective Sergeant Bruce Buntain said: “We are grateful to members of the public who have assisted with this inquiry and would remind people if they are offered items for sale which they have any concerns about they should contact police on 101.”
