A man has appeared in court, charged with supplying drugs after £18,000 worth of cocaine was seized on a north-east road.
Officers made the recovery at the Temple of Fiddes area on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road earlier in the week.
Sean McCartney appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday where he made no plea.
The 33-year-old was released on bail and will return to court at a later date.
Detective Sergeant Calum Bell said: “This was an intelligence-led operation and involved specialist officers assisted by roads policing.
“We are committed to targeting the illegal supply of drugs in the north-east and encourage anyone with information or concerns to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
