Two youths charged with vandalising Aberdeen’s Wallace Tower

Police have charged two youths with vandalising the Wallace Tower in Tillydrone, Aberdeen.

Officers were called to the tower at around 5.50pm yesterday following reports that a group of youths were causing damage.

Constable Dan Baird from Tillydrone Community Policing Team said: “During school holidays there is a general increase in youth annoyance and vandalism type calls and we will continue to carry out patrols to tackle this issue.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to remind parents to ensure they know where their children are and that they are safe. Any concerns should be reported to police on 101.”
