Travellers have pitched up at an Aberdeen beauty spot.
Two caravans were spotted at the Den of Maidencraig near Hazlehead Park.
The area has been a popular spot for travellers in recent years.
A group of ten caravans were sited on a road leading up to the park in 2015 leading to the council installing more bollards to prevent further intrusion.
Rubbish, including toys and human excrement, were discarded and a massive community clean up took place.
The travellers did not wish to comment when approached by the Press and Journal yesterday.
Hazlehead, Queens Cross and Ashley councillor Martin Greig said that the caravans on council owned land were “unauthorised”.
He said: “It is deeply frustrating that our local area is experiencing once again this kind of unwanted intrusion.
“This is a clear case of pitching up without permission. The local community is concerned about this kind of disorderly activity. This unauthorised action needs to be dealt with quickly.”
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said: “The travellers have said that they would move on Monday and ACC officers will visit the site again then.”
