Four people were treated for smoke inhalation following a blaze in an Aberdeen tower block.
The fire service was called to Promenade Court in Seaton at around 1.55pm.
When they arrived, fire teams were faced with a developed kitchen fire in a sixth storey flat.
The firefighters brought the blaze under control by 2.25pm, but the emergency services remained at the scene for a short while following the incident to make sure the scene was safe.
Four individuals were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics following the blaze.
Fire crews used four pumps and a height appliance to bring the situation under control, as well as breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera.
