Fire crews tackled a vehicle blaze this evening at a travellers’ camp in Dyce, and police are investigating.
The private caravan park on Pitmedden Road was sealed off by officers as they carried out their inquiries following the fire, which started shortly before 5.45pm.
The blaze left the people carrier a hollow, burned-out shell.
A police spokesman said: “We were there along with the fire service. It was extinguished by the fire service.
“Two other vehicles nearby, both Transit vans, also sustained damage.
“We don’t know what the cause of the fire is yet. Investigations are ongoing.”
A fire service spokesman said: “We received the call at 5.45pm. We mobilised one appliance from Dyce. “
