A young company has celebrated its first year in business by scooping a national award.
Deeside Roofing Ltd was crowned Scotland’s Best Roofing Contractor at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards in June.
Business owner and managing director Sean Wheeler commented: “We are absolutely overwhelmed to have won Scotland’s best roofing contractor for 2017 at the Scottish Home Improvements Awards.
“To have even got into the final was an honour let alone actually win.
“This is a massive achievement for us considering we have only been in business a year.
“Our award greatly reflects how hard working and dedicated we are.”

For the young Tarland-based businessman, who has over 10 years’ experience in the trade, setting up his own company was a major risk but something he was convinced he had to do.
The recent award and his growing list of five star reviews is a testament to his work ethic and his commitment to quality workmanship and reliability.
