The accident occurred on the B979 between Peterculter and Westhill – known as the Malcolm Road – near Wester Ord at around 5.30pm.
There are no reports of any injuries yet.
A police spokesman said the incident is “not serious”.
He added: “It’s fairly minor. The road is blocked. A car has gone off the road and struck a tree. The front wheel has come off and the vehicle is partially blocking part of the road.
“We’re at the scene awaiting for the vehicle to be recovered. There’s no injuries at all by the sounds of things.”
Traffic is said to be tailing back to the Carnie roundabout due to the incident. Police are helping to move traffic along.
