Police have launched a manhunt this morning after a prisoner freed himself from security at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Lee Hipson escaped at around 12.20am last night after being taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police Scotland have urged people not to approach Hipson and to call them on 101 if they spot him.

It is expected he will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Local Area Commander Chief Inspector Kevin Wallace said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who assisted officers with this enquiry and for sharing our appeal.”
