Two men have been charged in relation to a video showing people climbing on Pittodrie’s floodlights.
The video appeared online this week showing men climbing over the wall at Pittodrie before making their way up the floodlights.
Last night police confirmed that two men had been charged in connection with the incident under Section 38(1) of the Criminal Justice and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2010.
This covers threatening and abusive behaviour.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that two men aged 18 and 20 have been charged in connection with an incident at Pittodrie Stadium on July 30, 2017, whereby footage was filmed from the floodlights.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. ”
