Fire crews and police were called out at 6am to Keith Hall Road in Inverurie. The road was closed while emergency services worked to free the person from the car, which got stuck under the railway bridge. A fire spokeswoman said four appliances were sent including a boat team and a decontamination unit as well. She said crews were still on the scene, pumping flood water and for decontamination. Drivers across the north-east reported issues with surface water across the area including Foveran on the A90 and Torry to Cove road.
