A fresh appeal has been launched to track down a “creepy” man who made an indecent comment to a lone woman in an Aberdeen park.
The incident happened at Victoria Park in Rosemount on August 1 at around lunchtime.
The male involved was 5ft 10in tall with short, greying brown hair. He was wearing a maroon T-shirt, dark blue jeans and dark shoes.
Inspector Simon Reid, of the city centre and Rosemount community policing team, urged anyone with information to come forward.
He said: “We have been making inquiries. The woman was not approached or harmed in any way however was understandably left feeling concerned and contacted police.
“We have carried out additional plain clothed and uniformed patrols in the area and have had no further reports of similar incidents.
“We would encourage anyone with any information or who has concerns to contact us on 101.”
Councillor Tom Mason, who represents the Midstocket and Rosemount ward, said: “This kind of thing can be quite scary for a woman on her own. You would hope people could walk through our parks without having to put up with that kind of thing.
He added: “People should be able to enjoy the parks. But unfortunately you get these people sometimes who display this creepy behaviour.
“It’s good that she reported it, hopefully it jogs someone’s memory.”
