Train commuters face disruption due to signal fault

A fault with the signalling system is causing delays for passengers travelling between Aberdeen and the Highland capital.

ScotRail said disruption on the line is expected until 10am.

A statement on its site reads: “We’re having problems with the signalling system which is affecting services between Aberdeen and Inverness

“Our staff have been advised and as soon as we get information from them we will let you know what is happening with your services.”
