Police were in attendance at the scene of an “incident” in Aberdeen into the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to a property on Baxter Place in Torry at 6.50pm last night.
The force would neither confirm or deny online speculation that a violent altercation had taken place.
It is understood that several police vehicles attended at the area.
A police spokesman would only state that officers were dealing with “an ongoing incident” and could not advise on how long they are expected to remain there.
He said: “Police are dealing with an ongoing incident and I can make no further comment at this stage.”
