A promotional 3D fly-through of the new £333million AECC has revealed what the development will look like inside and out.
The dramatic productions, which also include a timelapse showing work on the site, showcase the progress which has been made on the new AECC, which will open in 2019 and is designed to be a world-class exhibition, conference and meeting room venue.
Aberdeen City Council co-Leader, Jenny Laing, said: “The scale and quality of the new AECC will ensure it competes with the best national and international venues and will play an important role in helping to grow our local economy.
“The promotional video will help showcase it to a global audience and the timelapse video is a fantastic way of seeing how much progress has happened on the site since work started last July.”
The new AECC features three conference/exhibition halls, including the main arena, four multi-purpose conference rooms, and 15 meeting rooms.
The venue, which is being built by Aberdeen City Council, with partner Henry Boot Developments, is a key element of the council’s strategic infrastructure plan to boost the local economy.
