Fire fighters were called to a taxi on fire in Bridge of Don this evening.
Emergency services headed to the blaze at around 5.10pm on Ellon Road. Nobody was hurt in the fire, but traffic was delayed while it was being extinguished.
A police spokesman said: “We received a call about a car on fire. The fire service also went. We were asked for assistance in terms of managing traffic.
“The fire service extinguished the fire and the vehicle was moved by 5.24pm.
“Nobody was injured. The driver of the car called the emergency services.”
A fire service spokeswoman said: “One crew from Central was in attendance. One hose reel jet was used.”
