A number of flights at Aberdeen Airport have been diverted, delayed or cancelled this evening.
A problem on a section of the runway was discovered and staff worked to resolve the issue.
A statement on the airport’s Facebook page: “We can now confirm that the minor repair work on the North end of our runway has now been completed. The runway is now fully operational to arriving and departing flights. We would advise passengers to continue to contact their airline for updated flight information.
