The incident, in which one man was left injured, happened on 31 August at around 10.55pm. It is understood the man was walking between Provost Watt Drive and Fauld’s Wynd when he was assaulted. He was injured as a result but did not require hospital treatment. Police are looking to trace two men who may be able to assist with enquiries. They are described as wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered with scarves.
