Police are investigating after machinery and tools were stolen from several sites along the Aberdeen bypass route near Ellon.
The items were believed to have been taken some time between September 1 and 4, and are worth a mid four-figure sum.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have information or who saw anything suspicious in the area during this period to contact them.
Constable Nicola Power said: “Inquiries are ongoing into the thefts of machinery and tools and we would ask that anyone with any information gets in touch with us on 101 quoting incident number 1070 of 2 September or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
“We would ask that anyone who saw anything suspicious, people or vehicles gets in touch with us.
“We would also ask that if you are buying machinery or tools you know where it has come from. If you have any concerns please contact us.”
Machinery and tools worth four-figure sum stolen from AWPR sites
