North-east motorists have been told to expect delays ahead of two weeks of roadworks for the new £333million Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC).
Dyce Drive will be closed between Wellheads Drive and the A96 Aberdeen to Inverurie road for two weeks, staring on Monday, October 2.
A diversion will be put in place, and drivers will still be able to access the airport from Dyce Drive.
Joe McMenamin, project director for Robertson, the main contractor for the new AECC at Bucksburn, advised motorists to plan ahead or take the bus.
He said: “As a temporary full closure of the road is required, we would encourage commuters to allow for increased travel time, or to consider public transport, in order to minimise disruption to their schedules.
“Delays are likely as a result of the work, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
