A Las Vegas-themed casino night, held in Peterhead, has raised more than £7,500 for charity and landed one man a trip to the US.
The event at the Palace Hotel, organised by local group Shimmer and Sparkle, raised cash for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland).
Guests enjoyed dinner, live entertainment from local groups, and the occasion was particularly lucky for local man Joe Geddes who won a grand prize of a trip to Las Vegas.
Shimmer and Sparkle was set up in 2008 by Vicki Forman and friends when her son, Dylan, was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
Mrs Forman said: “The casino night was a huge success. Everyone had a great time at the tables and we would like to thank those who came along to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.”
